Iโm a nature lover, and Iโve created a bucket list of trails I want to hike and waterfalls I want to photograph. Before heading out for a hike, itโs important to wear proper footwear, as some paths can be rocky or slippery. Always prioritize safety. Please bring water and a small snack with you, and remember to leave no trace of your visit.
Keep the trails clean! Before you head out, check online for opening and closing times, as well as the distance of the trails. Some waterfalls, like those at Bushkill Falls, may require an entrance fee. Additionally, be aware that many hiking trails do not have restroom facilities, so itโs a good idea to identify nearby locations with restrooms. Enjoying nature and escaping the city’s distractions is an excellent way to clear your mind and relax.
During my visits to various locations, I found the scenery and sounds to be incredibly peaceful. I hike throughout the year, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing based on the weather and remember to bring bug spray. All the trails are kid- and pet-friendly, making them great for beginner hikers.ย
When leaving the woods, itโs essential to check for bugs or ticks on yourself and your clothes. Make sure to remove any outer layers and shower thoroughly. To ensure there are no lingering bugs on your clothing, you can also place them in a hot dryer.ย
Have fun exploring these beautiful sites!
