RED MILL MUSEUM & HUNTERDON ART MUSEUM

We had an amazing time visiting the Red Mill Museum, and right next door is the Hunterdon Art Museum. The Red Mill, a historic 19th-century site, operated from 1810 to 1928. Ralph Hunt originally processed wool there, but his business failed. It was later taken over by John Bray and John B. Taylor, who operated it from 1828 to 1834. During that time, they changed the town’s name from Hunt’s Mill to Clinton.
